What primitive types are available in Java?

"Java provides several primitive types. byte is an 8-bit signed 2s complement integer with the wrapper class Byte; short is a 16-bit signed 2s complement integer with the wrapper class Short; int is a 32-bit signed 2s complement integer with the wrapper class Integer; long is a 64-bit signed 2s complement integer with the wrapper class Long; float is a 32-bit IEEE 754 floating point number with the wrapper class Float; double is a 64-bit floating point number with the wrapper class Double; boolean may be set to true or false and has the wrapper class Boolean; and char is a 16-bit Unicode (UTF-16) character with the wrapper class Character."
