When you see an advertisement for a prescription drug, consider what condition it treats, whether you have that condition, whether the drug is approved for people like you, possible side effects, interactions with other drugs, effects from foods, beverages, vitamins, or supplements, other treatments, cost, lifestyle changes, and how to learn more about the condition and drug."
