Concept
Follow-up Cohort
Factors associated with persistent post-COVID-19 condition and functional limitation four years after SARS-CoV-2 infection | Scientific Reports / Baseline characteristics second follow-up survey (March–September 2024)
"The follow-up cohort of 2024 included 568 respondents from the initial cohort. Compared with participants who did not complete Phase II (n = 424), responders were older in Phase I (mean [SD], 46.41 [13.13] vs 41.29 [13.48] years; p < 0.001), and functional limitation in Phase I (PCFS ≥ 2) was slightly more frequent among responders (14.3% vs 9.2%; p = 0.016). No substantial differences were observed for Phase I PCC status, sex, obesity, and acute disease severity between responders and non-responders (Supplementary Table S3)."
