"Narrated Abu Huraira: While the Prophet (ﷺ) was saying something in a gathering, a Bedouin came and asked him, \"When would the Hour (Doomsday) take place?\" Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) continued his talk, so some people said that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) had heard the question, but did not like what that Bedouin had asked. Some of them said that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) had not heard it. When the Prophet (ﷺ) finished his speech, he said, \"Where is the questioner, who inquired about the Hour (Doomsday)?\" The Bedouin said, \"I am here, O Allah's Apostle.\" Then the Prophet (ﷺ) said, \"When honesty is lost, then wait for the Hour (Doomsday).\" The Bedouin said, \"How will that be lost?\" The Prophet (ﷺ) said, \"When the power or authority comes in the hands of unfit persons, then wait for the Hour (Doomsday.)\"\n\nNarrated `Abdullah bin `Amr: Once the Prophet (ﷺ) remained behind us in a journey. He joined us while we were performing ablution for the prayer which was over-due. We were just passing wet hands over our feet, and not washing them properly, so the Prophet (ﷺ) addressed us in a loud voice and said twice or thrice: \"Save your heels from the fire.\"\n\nNarrated Ibn `Umar: Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, \"Amongst the trees, there is a tree, the leaves of which do not fall and is like a Muslim. Tell me the name of that tree.\" Everybody started thinking about the trees of the desert areas. Ibn `Umar thought of the date-palm tree but felt shy to answer. The Prophet (ﷺ) replied, \"It is the date-palm tree.\" In another narration, Ibn `Umar thought of the date-palm tree, but the others then asked the Prophet (ﷺ) to inform them what tree it was, and he gave the same reply. On another occasion, fresh dates of a palm tree were brought to the Prophet (ﷺ). He said that among the trees there is one which resembles a Muslim. Ibn `Umar wanted to say that it was the date-palm tree, but, being the youngest, kept quiet; the Prophet (ﷺ) then said, \"It is the date-palm tree.\"\n\nNarrated Anas bin Malik: While we were sitting with the Prophet (ﷺ) in the mosque, a man came riding on a camel. He made his camel kneel down in the mosque, tied its foreleg, and asked, \"Who amongst you is Muhammad?\" The Prophet (ﷺ) said, \"I am here to answer your questions.\" The man asked whether Allah had sent him as an Apostle to all mankind, whether Allah had ordered five prayers in a day and night, fasting during Ramadan, and taking Zakat from the rich and distributing it among the poor. The Prophet (ﷺ) answered each question, \"By Allah, yes.\" The man said that he believed in all that with which the Prophet had been sent, and identified himself as Dimam bin Tha`laba from the brothers of Bani Sa`d bin Bakr.\n\nNarrated `Abdullah bin `Abbas: Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) gave a letter to a person and ordered him to deliver it to the Governor of Bahrain. The Governor sent it to Chousroes, who read the letter and tore it to pieces. The sub-narrator said that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) invoked Allah against them, saying, \"May Allah tear them into pieces, and disperse them all totally.\"\n\nNarrated Anas bin Malik: Once the Prophet (ﷺ) wrote a letter or had an idea of writing a letter. He was told that rulers would not read letters unless they were sealed. So the Prophet (ﷺ) got a silver ring made with \"Muhammad Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)\" engraved on it.\n\nNarrated Abu Waqid Al-Laithi: While Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) was sitting in the mosque with some people, three men came. Two stood before him and the third went away. One of the two found a place in the circle and sat there, while the other sat behind the gathering. When Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) finished his preaching, he said that one of them betook himself to Allah, so Allah took him into His grace and mercy and accommodated him; the second felt shy from Allah, so Allah sheltered him in His mercy; and the third turned his face from Allah and went away, so Allah turned His face from him likewise.\n\nNarrated `Abdur-Rahman bin Abi Bakra's father: The Prophet (ﷺ) asked what day and month it was. When the people answered that it was the Day of Nahr and the month of Dhul-Hijja, he said, \"Verily! Your blood, property and honor are sacred to one another like the sanctity of this day of yours, in this month of yours and in this city of yours.\" He added that those present should inform those absent, because those who were absent might comprehend what he had said better than the present audience."
