"We performed a retrospective observational cohort analysis of women diagnosed with GDM and managed in our specialist joint obstetric and diabetes antenatal service between 2022 and 2023. We used a standardized, patient-led, rapid basal insulin titration protocol for the management of GDM, which we have previously described.3 4 ,5 All women diagnosed with GDM were provided with dietary and lifestyle support at diagnosis and throughout follow-up, with pharmacological therapy initiated in cases of persistent hyperglycemia."
