There are only two kinds of people who win in life. The first are the ones who have no backup, no safety net, no comfortable home waiting. If everything falls apart for then failure isn't an option so they do everything they can to turn their life around. The second ones are the people with brutally high self standards. They have everything, the safety net, the support system, but in the head they have decided that being meocre is unacceptable even when comfort would let them get away with it. These two groups look like opposite to outsiders, but what they share is the same stubbornness of refusing to settle. They are not giving their life in the hands of their circumstances or comfort. They have just removed the option to do anything less than their best and that's the whole scene. The world rewards people who don't give themselves an easy way. You either need life to push you or you push aside.
