Can you guess the heart murmur? Number one. Classic crescendo, decrescendo is your aortic stenosis. Number two. Early diastolic blowing and a wide pulse pressure is aortic regurgitation. Number three. The opening snap and low-pitched diastolic rumble is mitral stenosis. Number four. Classic hollow systolic murmur can be mitral or tricuspid regurgitation or a VSD. Number five. The systolic ejection murmur, classically at the left upper sternal border, is pulmonic stenosis. Number six. Think of atrial septal defect ASD with a split defect for fixed split S2. And number seven. Midstalled click is classic for mitral valve prolapse. Let me know how many you got.
