A high school in New York went super viral for introducing a humanoid robot as a teacher. Yeah, the AI robot named Sally was supposed to function as a teacher in robotics and tech classes at this high school. But with all of the pushback from students, parents, and others around the country, the school has announced that they are putting this project on pause, which is better than nothing, but hopefully they cancel it altogether. Arguing that students need to build strong relationships with actual adults and not robots. And it doesn't help that the company who made this robot also makes adult robots if you know what I mean. But at least they're getting rid of it.
