My name is Halari Fei. I'm an electronics and communication engineering student with a minor in mechatronics and I am a senior. I am the president of AUC Robotics. I joined because I had a curious eye for electronics and robotics in general. I was very passionate about what I took in one of the tracks that was given by robotics and I did win first place in multiple robotics competitions competitions. So it continued my passion for Robotics and so now I am the president. Robotics Club is basically a club based off of getting into competitions, sharing knowledge of what we learned from these competitions and general skills that you would require to build any sort of a Robotics system. And also we work on side projects that peak interests of students. Currently we're working on BB-8 for example which is a Star Wars robot. We also get into competitions against other universities. We are working on two main projects as well when it comes to competitions against other universities. The ROV which is a submarine that gets immersed in underwater and it basically performs certain tasks underwater. We also have the Minesweeper competition, which will be entering next year. And this is where basically we create a sort of car that detects mines under the ground. We are not biased when it comes to majors. So it for it's offered for everyone not just engineering majors but also business majors can join any sort of major could join and participate in whatever track we have to offer. [MUSIC]
