Allowances can be divided into three parts, fully taxable, partly taxable, and fully exempt allowances. In fully taxable allowances, no exemption or reduction is provided to the employee. Here is a list of some fully taxable allowances, you can pause your screen and take a look at them. Now comes hotly taxable allowances. There are some allowances where law provides exemption to a certain limit which willll be discussed in later videos. Last one is fully exempt allowance where an employee does not have to pay any amount of tax if you meet specified conditions.
