Three men, dead for centuries, are running your life in the age of AI because they wrote the operating system in our minds. Who are they? Welcome to part two of our human intelligence series where we reclaim our original intelligence in the age of AI. The world we live in, the one where AI is making our jobs obsolete, where we measure our worth by output, that world is collapsing. That world was engineered by three men who never met. The first is Machiavelli. In 1513, he wrote The Prince, inspired by the brutal political ambition of Cesare Borgia, and he thought Europe that power does not need morality. That is why AI is being ushered into collective consciousness without anyone bothering to build its moral infrastructure. The second man is René Descartes. In 1637, this French philosopher wrote Our Current Human OS in five words. I think, therefore I am. He separated our minds from our bodies. He separated the human from nature. He told us that only proof of our existence was our thinking, and everything else, our feelings, our intuition, our connection to Earth, was secondary. That is why we are super confused when LLMs output a Mylar code a minute. The third man was Adam Smith. In 1776, the same year America was born, he published The Wealth of Nations and gave us the philosophical foundation of capitalism. He told us that individual greed, properly channeled, would produce collective good. This is why we have been trained to measure our worth in promotions, square footage, and net worth, and do everything to make it happen. And guess what? The program these three men introduced were encoded into our subconscious, our operating system, through education. As we all know by now, the school system was not designed to make us free, nor intelligent. It was designed in the late 1800s by industrial barons, who needed obedient workers, and they modeled it on a Prussian system built to produce obedient soldiers. The three R's of the Western education system, reading, writing, arithmetic, were never about our freedom or our intelligence. They were about stripping us of our own humanity to breed compliant robots. So let me spell out the program. Power without morality, the self separated from the spirit, and wealth equals virtue. That's the recipe. That's the operating system that has been running in the background of our lives for the past 400 years. And then AI came along and started doing the machine work better than we ever could. Only then the lie, the illusion, started to collapse.
