I've been coding for eight years now and one thing I wish I knew earlier was just how clutch GitHub can be for getting you hired. So here are five go repositories that every single aspiring software engineer needs to know. First is one of my favorite, it's project-based learning. The only way you'll ever learn how to code is building out something from scratch yourself. So pick a coding language, I highly recommend Python or JavaScript, and build two to three coding projects. Next is Web Dev for Beginners. This is a 12-week curriculum by Microsoft made completely for free. It has 24 lessons covering JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, and it has interactive quizzes and assignments. Now another step down one is coding interview universities. Software engineering interviews are harder than the job itself. So this hang engineer built up every single thing you need to know and resources along the way. Now one of the most important concepts in the age of AI is system design. So I really recommend the system design primer give a positive. Everything in this repository is crucial to land a job. I'd focused on stuff like caching, queues, how to handle large databases and everything around APIs. Finally, there is my own gilb repository by Resimax, which covers everything between job postings, coding projects, and roadmaps for different roles based off of every single thing that I've learned over my last eight years of coding. So save this video and follow from there.
