If I was restarting my coding journey, these are the three coding languages I would learn and how based on what I did to get into Amazon. My first language would be Python. It's the most beginner friendly because the closest to English you could possibly get. And it's the only language you should be using for your technical interviews. To learn it, start with programming with Mosh on YouTube and then Python tutor for visualizations. Next is Java. 80% of Amazon's existing code base is written in Java and so many other big type companies still use it just because a lot of legacy systems are still written in it. To learn Java, I would go to Amigos code on YouTube, He's the goat. And then I will go even further and learn Spring Boot. It's a cheat code to learn big tech jobs. And to do this, I would go to project-based learning on GitHub and build out the backend projects. Finally, there's JavaScript. It covers literally all aspects of web development so you could build whatever you want with it. I would watch FreeCocamp on YouTube to get the fundamentals down and then go to the Oden Project online to get everything mastered. Good luck and follow from warm.
