What can you do with the green computer science specializing in machine learning and what skills do you need to actually become successful in the field? And I built out a roadmap to visualize all of this and I added resources for each one. The first one that we have is LLM applications. This is where you take AI models and turn them into things that people actually use. So this includes chatbots that know your company's docs, agents that take actions and assistants that live inside your applications. The next one that we have is model training. This is the path for those who want to learn how the models work, but don't want to build up the entire architecture. So you edit and find the models that everyone else uses and then you determine how they behave. And finally, we have multi-models. This is where you teach AI how to see, hear and create. So this includes things like image and field generators like Gemini, vision language models and even speech models like ChatBT Voice. And the most important thing is to just pick one and build something small in it and then go deeper from there, because projects like those are what get you hired.
