A student just asked me how we memorize all of our music theory. Guys, we don't. The techniques you use consistently are the ones you end up memorizing, right? I still have to look up stuff. If I'm teaching a concept I haven't used in a while, I gotta brush up on it. It's okay to learn a music theory concept and forget it. It's okay to refresh your knowledge.
