Have you noticed how Instagram and YouTube suggest us content based on what we like to watch? From filtering our emails to deciding what to watch on Netflix, data science is everywhere. And how can we learn data science as a student? The first step would be to learn a programming language. And Python is the most popular option out there because of its useful libraries like Skykit Learn and Bandas. We've also made a free tutorial on the basics of Python available on Apna College YouTube. The second step would be to brush up on the basics of mathematics. We need to cover four key areas, algebra, statistics, calculus and probability. The third step is to learn machine learning algorithms which form the core of this field. And once we are done with the basics, we need to apply our knowledge into creating projects because data science is a highly practical skill. Once we have created a lot of projects, then we can choose to dive deeper into this field and learn more about deep learning algorithms, computer vision and things like NLP. That was it for today. See you next time. Till then, keep learning and keep exploring.
