What do you do at Google? I work in Google Ads in the data science domain. And what are some perks that you enjoy at Google? My favorite perk is food and I love the people. What do you do on like a day-to-day basis? Day-to-day depends on where I am in the project. For example, there are days when I'm doing heads down coding work and then there are days I'm just writing a lot of papers. And how did you actually get into Google? One of my coworkers/mentors actually referred me to this job that I'm currently at. Do you have any advice for anyone who wants to get into Google? My advice would be to get a referral, apply for the job and go in very, very, very prepared when you go into that interview. Do a lot of mock interviews. Do a lot of coding practice. Do behavioral questions. Do problem-solving questions. Basically do your homework before you enter that interview room. so you are very well prepared and you shine through that interview.
