Check us out, this is the future of farming. You see those lights underneath the tractors? Those are actually lasers blasting the weeds in real time. It's pretty crazy. This machine is called the laser weeder from Carbon Robotics. But the wild part about this isn't actually the lasers themselves. It's the AI targeting system that determines where they aim. And this is going to blow your mind. Think of the laser weeder like a giant Roomba for a farm. First, it scans the entire field with 42 different cameras. Then it uses AI and computer vision to figure out exactly where the weeds are within the crops. And to do this, it's using NVIDIA GPUs, the exact same chips in all the latest AI models. But then this is where the real magic happens. When it rolls back through the field a second time, it uses 30 lasers with millimeter level precision to destroy only the weeds and leave the crops unharmed. And this may seem small, but it's actually a massive innovation because one of the biggest problems in society today is the quality of our food. And part of that is the need for pesticides, glyphosate and different kinds of weed killer. Well, if you have the laser weeder, you don't actually need pesticides at all because you can just eliminate the weeds from the very beginning. This is the kind of innovation that would not have been possible before AI because we didn't have the systems that could analyze this much visual data and learn in real time. Well, now we do and it's a big deal. I think this is going to change agriculture forever.
