Welcome to the most innovative greenhouse in the world. Today we're at Winsett Farms, a 92 acre greenhouse with new technology that allows them to grow year round. The whole greenhouse is run on this track system here. It isn't just used for transportation, they also use it for heat, running hot water through them. Now this is mind blowing. These are eggs of wasps and ladybugs, which they use to keep the pests away, protecting their perfect looking tomatoes and cucumbers. To the naked eye, this might look like pink light, but it's actually red and blue light combined, which helps with the photosynthesis, which increases the yield. And with the combination of light covers, this helps reduce the light pollution. Once planted, these tomato crops can last up to 50 weeks, and the vine can span as long as 11 meters. Look how long this vine is. Each employee has their own personal computer. When they are done picking the row, they tap this data pad, allowing them not to miss any of the rows. Thank you for hosting me, Winset. I'm so excited to try some of your new upcoming varieties.
