What if you could grow your own vegetables without owning a farm? There is something called rent a farm. You get a small plot of farmland and farmers grow organic vegetables as per your preference and deliver them to your doorstep every week. The best part, you can visit and pluck vegetables yourself. Isn't it amazing? Here, farmers have no incentive to use chemicals to increase the produce. Whatever is growing on the land is yours and they can't sell it elsewhere. I've been doing this for 7 months with edible roots. Initially, it was an adjustment to eat only seasonal vegetables and that too in abundance. But it improved our eating habits. Salad and sauteed vegetables that's our everyday now. And Zomato and Swiggy at an all time low. Because we are always finishing the surplus first. I've made a document with more details about this model including the cost and I found 7 such farms in India. Type farm and I'll send you the pdm.
