It's been about 14 weeks since we transferred these strawberries to their hydroponic buckets. We've gotten some nice strawberries off them already, but I've been picking off most flowers and runners waiting until the plant gets full size like the ones I have downstairs. This way they don't waste energy making a couple berries and they can get full size and make a lot. They will each make one quart of strawberries per month. They will continue to flower forever because I give them no period of dormancy. This means I do not simulate a winter. So it's really tough in the environment out there for them. On a 90 degree day, it gets up to 122 in the sunlight. And in heat waves, it's up to 110 outside. And in the drought, we can only water for 4 minutes each cycle 3 times a day, unless you water by hand or watch it. This is only my third time watering the indoor ones. We did it at the 5, 9, and 14 week point. I've been documenting the entire process in long and short form on my YouTube dish to flock and many more plants.
