Let me show y'all something. This is my ficus ruby who lately prefers the mullet life. It's all business up top and party on the bottom. Maybe she prefers the mullet life, but I think something's up and I want to get to the bottom of it. Because she's already proven that she likes to live on the wild side, I'm going to be doing a little bit of an experiment with her. And now that we removed most of the soil, it's easy to tell that this one plant is actually two plants. And for this experiment I'm doing, it's really important that I get the roots extra clean. Exhibit A. Now I just need to get the roots on the other stem clean. Please enjoy this intermission while I rinse away the rest of the soil. Now I'm back and my ficus rubius clean, and of course I'm talking about the roots and not its conscious. We know that she's a party animal. If you haven't guessed yet, the way I'm experimenting with this ficus is I'm putting it in Leca, and the reason why this is an experiment is because I've never grown ficus in Leca before. Now all that's left is to give her a drink of some hydroponic fertilizer and watch her thrive.
