You don't have good ideas because you don't immerse your mind in good ideas. You look at ideas as a consumer rather than a researcher. You don't reverse engineer the ideas and then study them and then take what you learned and make it your own. That's what all great writers and creators do. Why do you think you, of all people, can skip that process? The greats don't try to have a bunch of original ideas because that's not what the audience wants. The audience wants your opinion. They want your point of view on what's already been said because most things have already been said. So seriously, just stop overcomplicating it. You take what works and you make it your own. You filter an idea that's already worked through your own opinion and perspective. If you do that every day for six months, you will see results.
