Let's print an X pattern using Python. Here the pattern is using 7 rows. First we set rows equal to 7. Now using a 4 loop, we will go through each row individually. Right for i and a range of rows. Inside this loop we write for j and a range of rows. Now let's print stars on the left diagonal. Here we print star only when the row number equals the column number. For the rest positions we print a space. Now let's write a condition with an if statement. If i equals j then print a star and use end equals empty string. This means we stay on the same line. Else, we print a space and again use end equals empty string. Now we add a simple print statement to move to the next line after each row. Run this and it prints the left diagonal perfectly. Now to add the right diagonal, we write j equals rows minus 1 minus i. Here we are just reversing the logic of the left diagonal. Now we print from the end and move backward. And when we run this, both diagonals form a complete X. Don't forget to like and comment if this helped. Follow PyCode Dev for more Python educational reels.
