Let's see how to print this hollow diamond pattern using Python. First, we are printing 5 rows in the top half. So, we set rows equals to 5. We will use a for loop. Write for i in range of 1 comma rows plus 1. Inside this loop, we will write print space multiplied by rows minus i comma end equals empty string. This moves the star toward the center. Now start another loop using for j in range of 1 comma 2 times i. This helps us print stars in a wider shape as we move down. Here we use an if else condition. If J is equal to 1 or J is equal to 2 times i minus 1. In that case, we print a star using print star comma and equals empty string. Else we print a space using print space comma and equals empty string. This will only print stars on the edges of each row. Now we move to the next line using a simple print statement. When this upper part is done, we move to the lower part. The lower part is just in reverse. So we will use for i in range of rows minus one comma zero comma minus one. Now run the program. We get a perfect hollow diamond pattern. Don't forget to like and comment if this helped. Follow PyCode Dev for more Python educational reels.
