Let me show you how to make a hydroponic system two times bigger than the first one I showed you guys how to make. First, go on thrift the base. Fill it up with water leaving about an inch at the top so that your seed does not float inside of the pot. Cut out a piece of foil a little bit bigger than your top. Use your object to measure your foil out. Now reflect this side up because we want to maximize as much light going to our plants as possible. Now make a hole that is a little bit smaller than the circumference of your pot. Now add your plant food. You can get some of this off a T-Move for $3. And for something like your fox farm that contains a bunch of microbes, you're going to wait until your water declorinates. That takes between 24 and 48 hours. So just keep that in mind if you're going to be using something like that. Now add your pot and spurs that you can get from T-Move. This little system should be big enough to grow anything from a tomato plant to a pepper plant as long as they're a smaller variety. Now you're going to need a way to prevent algae growth. So you can use a piece of paper, more foil, a sock, fabric, anything you have just sitting around. This is going to keep the light out that contributes to algae growth. And this works because sunlight and nutrients is like steroid styrolyte. This will help prevent us having to clean up nasty water every water change. Now you can start planting and as always happy gardening. And if you want to know how to make one this big, watch my video.
