Never click on another Captcha until you watch this video. Did you know that clicking the wrong Captcha can install malware on your phone in under 10 seconds? Let me explain. There's a new scam going around and you won't guess what it is. Scammers are creating fake Captcha tests. And you know what a Captcha is, right? It's those tests that ask you to pick all the traffic lights or type in some words to prove you're human and not a robot. But here's how the fake ones work. The fake CAPTCHA will pop up on your screen and it will ask you to press specific keys in a certain order, like press the Windows key and R then CTRL+V then Enter. And if you follow those instructions, you're actually downloading malware straight into your computer or phone, which means hackers can out steal all your passwords, your banking information and your personal data. So here's what you need to know. A real CAPShOT will only ask you to click on images or type in some words and that is it. A real CAPShOT will never tell you to open new windows, never tell you to press special key combinations and never give you a list of commands to follow. If you see anything that looks like instructions with keyboard commands, close that window immediately and get off that website. Share this with everyone you know, especially anyone who might not be as tech savvy as you are. And stay safe because I care about you.
