Concepts

1. Blockchain Solve

"Digital money can be copied, creating the danger that a person will spend the same token more than once. Satoshi Nakamoto addressed this problem by creating a public, decentralized ledger that record

2. Replace Centralized

"Traditional monetary systems depend on banks or central authorities to maintain records of who owes what to whom, which provides efficiency and security but concentrates power and profit in the hands

3. Yap Ledger

"The example of the Yapese fei-stone economy shows how a centralized record-keeper could exploit the community by charging arbitrary fees, favoring certain people, or falsifying records under politica

4. Recorded Bitcoin

"Bitcoin's blockchain is a continuously growing chronological chain of blocks, with each block containing transactions that occurred around the same time. The sequence records the balances and identif

5. Bitcoin Addresses

"Bitcoins are not physical objects or self-contained digital files; they exist as balances assigned by the blockchain to unique addresses. A wallet displays the net value associated with incoming and

6. Miners Hashes

"When a transaction is broadcast, mining computers summarize its information into a fixed-length encrypted string called a hash, using the SHA-256 algorithm in Bitcoin. Miners combine transaction data

7. Proof Work

"Mining requires substantial computing power and electricity because miners must solve a difficult trial-and-error puzzle before a block can be added. After one miner finds a solution, other miners ve

8. Confirmations Competing

"A transaction is not fully settled when it is first broadcast, because the network must include it in a block and confirm that block through consensus. If two blocks are discovered at nearly the same

9. Bitcoin Incentivize

"Bitcoin rewards miners with newly issued bitcoins for maintaining the public ledger and confirming transactions, turning competition for rewards into a mechanism for securing the network. The protoco
