Concept
Recorded Bitcoin
Building the Blockchain / Building the Blockchain
"Bitcoin's blockchain is a continuously growing chronological chain of blocks, with each block containing transactions that occurred around the same time. The sequence records the balances and identifying information associated with every bitcoin and fraction of a bitcoin that has been created, spent, or received. A payment initially remains pending, but once miners place it in a block and the network confirms that block, the transaction becomes authenticated and effectively irreversible."
