2024 Limitations
Factors associated with persistent post-COVID-19 condition and functional limitation four years after SARS-CoV-2 infection | Scientific Reports / Functional status and symptom associations (PCFS)
"In 2024, for depressive symptoms we observed the largest association with functional limitation (aOR, 8.02; 95% CI 3.20–20.05), followed by rash (aOR, 6.43; 95% CI 1.73–23.90), headache (aOR, 5.03; 95% CI 1.95–13.08), fatigue (aOR, 4.98; 95% CI 1.76–14.00), concentration difficulties (aOR, 4.41; 95% CI 1.93–10.03), resting dyspnea (aOR, 4.36; 95% CI 1.36–13.90), and joint pain (aOR, 3.73; 95% CI 1.72–8.07) (Table 2).\n\nInterestingly, BMI ≥ 30 kg/m2 was associated with higher PCFS grades in 2024 (aOR, 2.84; 95% CI 1.25–6.44), whereas hypertension, anxiety, and sleep difficulties were not retained in the final model."
