Health Education Health 100 Version 3 / Stress and the Brain
"Stress occurs when events and responsibilities exceed a person’s perceived coping abilities. Chronic stress can affect brain regions such as the amygdala and has been associated with changes in memory, cognition, sleep, and behavior."
