Health Education Health 100 Version 3 / Intimate Partner Violence
"Warning signs include excessive control, isolation from friends and family, pressure to do unwanted things, fear of communicating honestly, repeated blame, disrespect, and promises to change that are not followed by changed behavior. Healthy relationships allow both partners to be themselves, make decisions together, maintain outside connections, communicate honestly, and feel supported. People who feel controlled or afraid should trust their feelings and seek confidential help."
