Ph Redox
Introduction to Soil Science / Importance of Soil Chemical Properties
"Soil pH measures acidity or basicity as the negative logarithm of hydrogen ion concentration. Redox status describes the tendency of chemicals to gain or lose electrons and is influenced by oxygen and other oxidizing agents. Electrical conductivity measures how easily electrons move through soil and is related to the concentration of dissolved ions and soil salinity."
